What is the difference between the Flex, the Advanced and the Pro tariffs?

The Flex tariff has a low monthly subscription fee and variable consumption-based AC and DC prices per charging station operator. The Advanced and Pro tariffs have the added benefit of standardised AC and DC prices throughout Germany, providing total transparency in presenting the cost of each charging session. The Pro tariff includes very favourable prices for Ionity fast charging stations, making it particularly attractive for frequent and long-distance drivers.

When does the Pro tariff become the worthwhile option?

The Pro tariff becomes the worthwhile option from a monthly charging volume of more than 45 kWh (without taking idle time into consideration).

Can I upgrade or downgrade to another tariff at any time?

You can cancel the existing contract and subscribe to a new tariff at any time. Please keep in mind that the cancellation period remains one month until the end of the next calendar month.

What is the difference between the former Standard tariff and the new Flex tariff?

The Standard tariff has now become Flex. The price of electricity at IONITY charging points will no longer be specified in the list of prices and services and will not apply for the duration of the tariff. However, you can view it in the CHARGE&FUEL App prior to each charging session.

Are the IONITY M and IONITY L tariffs still available from LOGPAY?

The charging network provider IONITY modified its tariff structure on 1 June 2023. Consequently, we have discontinued and will no longer extend the ‘IONITY M’ and ‘IONITY L’ packages. This is why we now have two new tariffs with preferential conditions. All existing IONITY contracts will remain valid until the end of the contract term of the tariff to which you have subscribed.

Do the tariffs have a minimum contract term? How long is the cancellation period?

The minimum contract term for all tariffs is one month. The cancellation period is one month until the end of the next calendar month.

Why do I have to provide the VIN when subscribing to the Pro tariff?

If you select LOGPAY’s Pro tariff, a corresponding IONITY tariff for each vehicle brand will be automatically locked in. There are different subscription fees depending on the vehicle brands affiliated with the IONITY network. You can therefore only select and subscribe to the Pro tariff after providing your vehicle identification number (VIN) to LOGPAY.

Which vehicles are affiliated with the IONITY network?

The IONITY network currently includes vehicles of the Volkswagen Group (Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA , ŠKODA, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Porsche), the BMW Group (BMW and Mini), the Mercedes-Benz Group (Mercedes and smart), Ford Motor Company and the Hyundai Motor Group (Hyundai and Kia).

Do I also benefit from IONITY preferential conditions if my vehicle is not affiliated with the IONITY network?

You can benefit from preferential conditions at IONITY fast charging stations regardless of your vehicle’s brand. If your vehicle is affiliated with the IONITY joint venture, you also benefit from a lower monthly subscription fee.

Will the IONITY option continue to exist?

Since we have adjusted our tariffs, the former IONITY option will be discontinued. Instead, the Flex, Advanced and Pro tariffs will apply.

Does a customer from Germany subscribed to the Advanced or Pro tariff also enjoy preferential conditions with IONITY abroad?

If a customer from Germany has subscribed to the Advanced or Pro tariff, they can enjoy the conditions of the Flex tariff when charging abroad with IONITY.

Why are the AC and DC prices in the Flex tariff not standardised nationwide?

We want to offer our customers the greatest variety of tariffs so that they can subscribe to a suitable tariff and other services at the card level according to the user’s behaviour.

What does a customer from Germany subscribed to the Advanced or Pro tariff pay for charging sessions abroad with operators other than IONITY?

When you charge your vehicle abroad, you will pay CPO-based prices at all public charging stations and the Flex tariff at IONITY charging stations. The applicable prices are also listed in the station details in the Charge&Fuel App.

Do I also have to pay an overstay fee if the car park is free?

The overstay fee applies regardless of any parking fees that may be incurred. You can access the station details in the Charge&Fuel App to view the prices for a charging session. However, we have no say in the matter of whether other operators should charge an additional parking fee.
