The difference between the two packages is basically in the reimbursement of the charging sessions. In the case of the Basic package, the employer reimburses home-charging sessions as an expense. In the case of the Comfort package, LOGPAY reimburses home-charging sessions directly to the company car driver’s account specified in Fleet Driver on behalf of the employer, and the employer reimburses LOGPAY for the corresponding home-charging sessions.
Regrettably, this cannot be done. An employer can opt for either the Basic or the Comfort package for the entire fleet. Therefore, there is no option to use both packages.
LOGPAY generally receives records of home-charging sessions by the next day. However, we occasionally receive these records late and consequently, there is a corresponding delay in their availability in the CHARGE&FUEL App. If some home-charging sessions are still not listed, please contact LOGPAY customer support at chargeandfuel@logpay.de so that we can look into the matter.
For both packages, in addition to the CHARGE&FUEL Card, the company-car driver needs a Volkswagen Group Service GmbH charger (Elli) with an integrated MID electricity meter to ensure that the home-charging sessions are correctly recorded and transmitted to LOGPAY. You can find compatible chargers for the HOME CHARGING service here. Furthermore, in order to use the HOME CHARGING service, the e-mobility feature must be enabled for the corresponding CHARGE&FUEL Card and set up for the HOME CHARGING service.
The HOME CHARGING feature can only be enabled by your employer, who can apply for the service with LOGPAY and have the corresponding cards enabled.
To find out, please ask your employer which HOME CHARGING service they have applied for for your CHARGE&FUEL Card.
A monthly fee per user for both the Basic and the Comfort packages applies for the HOME CHARGING service. The fee first becomes due when the CHARGE&FUEL Card has been linked to the charger in Elli Fleet Driver. Please visit the CHARGE&FUEL website for further information on pricing for the HOME CHARGING service.
Your employees’ home-charging sessions are recorded and transmitted to LOGPAY. LOGPAY then groups the transactions and collects the costs on a monthly basis, usually before the 15th of the month.
In the case of both the Basic and the Comfort packages, the employer receives a monthly record from LOGPAY detailing the employees that have charged their company car, the amount of electricity consumed and the cost.
If your employer has opted for the Comfort package, your home-charging sessions will be reimbursed by LOGPAY on behalf of your employer. For this purpose, in addition to your electricity tariff, you need to enter your personal data and bank details in Elli Fleet Driver.
Home-charging sessions are usually credited to the bank account you specified in Elli Fleet Driver before the 15th of the month. If this date has come and gone, please check whether the data you entered in Elli Fleet Driver is correct. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact LOGPAY customer support at chargeandfuel@logpay.de so that we can look into the matter.
Please contact LOGPAY customer support directly at chargeandfuel@logpay.de so that we can look into the matter. For this purpose, we will need information about the home-charging sessions in question and the month in which they occurred.
